New Ashford Select Board reorganizes and confirms 40-plus municipal appointments. Chair Jason Jayko and Vice Chair Ken McInerney were unanimously elected; the board then approved the annual slate of officers, inspectors, board members, and town counsel through motions predominantly passed unanimously, including Kopelman & Paige as Town Counsel, Ken McInerney to a three-year Conservation Commission term (Mark Phelps abstaining), and Mark Phelps to three-year terms on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Woodland Partnership of Northwestern Massachusetts. The board also authorized the Treasurer to spend $28 for a key lockbox and up to $480 for wi-fi components at the church and fire station using the town credit card.
