New Ashford to add outdoor community space at town hall

New Ashford Select Board authorizes small purchases and discusses community space plan. The Board authorized the Treasurer to purchase Town Clerk supplies (up to $40) and an Assessor's computer battery (up to $75). Maria Welch presented a proposal for an outdoor community space at town hall with a bench, picnic table, and lending library, estimated at $1,000, which the Board will support through a planned gazebo purchase and Road Commissioner Keith Lacasse's stone foundation work.
Lacasse also reported on fiscal 2027 road work, including planned culvert replacements on Greylock Road and Ingraham Road.
