New Ashford Select Board approves Berkshire Public Health Alliance service contracts unanimously. Chair Jason Jayko and Member Mark Phelps voted to bind the town through FY27, with quarterly billing and direct permit fee collection; MLP Manager Ken McInerney abstained. The board also adopted a $758,413 FY27 budget--a $90,464 increase--and added warrant articles for an $8,000 outdoor gathering area at Town Hall and Town Hall basement repairs.
The gathering space is part of Maria Welch's Girl Scout Gold Award project, which the Historical Commission endorsed.
