New Ashford Select Board approves spending and planning measures at January meeting. Chair Jason Jayko and board members Ken McInerney and Mark Phelps authorized a $60 annual wi-fi app plan for the Fire Station generator and approved reimbursement of $150 to Animal Control Officer Keith Beebe from the town's Animal Control expense account for veterinary services. The Board of Health is awaiting a contract proposal from Berkshire Health Alliance, priced at $6,000 annually or $80 per hour on a case-by-case basis.
The MLP is expecting a $14,000 CAFII disbursement in February, and McInerney will file an application to relocate part of the Sugarloaf Trail pending District Commissioner approval.
