Select Board authorizes tree removal on Cemetery Road for $3,250.

New Ashford Select Board approves $3,250 contract to remove dangerous trees from Cemetery Road by month's end. Chair Jason Jayko and member Mark Phelps voted unanimously to authorize Tree Warden Mario Gagliardi to hire the contractor. The Board also reviewed a Berkshire Alliance Board of Health proposal to provide town services for $5,000 in FY27 under a revised pay-per-service contract, with legal review pending.

Complaints about Fire Chief Frank Speth's responsiveness to residents prompted discussion of a possible hearing.
